We are located at 405 East D Street, Suite 114 in the historic Burdell Building in Petaluma. We are directly across Lakeville Street from Petaluma Art Center and the downtown SMART Train Station. There is free parking in the lot behind the building.

About Us

StitchCraft is designed to be a fun and inspirational place to come learn to sew. We have a fully stocked sewing studio with a variety of sewing machines and sergers, large cutting and worktables, professional dress forms, irons and ironing boards. We offer private lessons for both kids and adults as well as small group classes. 

StitchCraft is owned and operated by Nicole Pacheco. Since 2004, Nicole has taught thousands of people the joy of sewing through her popular sewing, patternmaking and design classes. In addition to classes at StitchCraft, she teaches on Craftsy and was a longtime instructor at Stonemountain and Daughter Fabrics in Berkeley and Stitch Lounge in San Francisco. Nicole has written several books about sewing including Super Stitches Sewing (Potter Craft) and Sewing Solutions (Interweave Press). Prior to starting her own company, she worked as a designer and merchandiser in the garment industry. She is an alumnus of the Academy of Art University and Otis College of Art & Design and has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Craft Stylish, Adorn, and Craft.
