Summer Classes!

Wednesday, May 28th, 2008

Hey all!

The summer class schedule is almost done. June is on the site now and classes are starting to fill up. July will be added this week. We have lots of new exciting classes just for the summer:

We are offering a Kids Sew Camp which is a 3 session class designed for girls and boys ages 8-12. They will learn how to confidently operate a sewing machine and will make either a pair of drawstring pajama pants or a drawstring skirt. In July we will also be doing kids only totebag, apron and pillow classes.

We are also offering tons of crafting classes like Melt & Pour Soaps, Bath Salts & Sugar Scrubs, Marble Magnets, Glass Etching. etc. Lots of fun projects that also make fantastic gifts!!!

All kids classes are held during the day Wednesday through Friday. Sign up early because these are going to sell out!

We will, of course, continue to offer classes for adults during the evenings and weekends. We have added a new class based on the Titus Tie Blouse pattern called Easy Peasy Camisole. These tops are perfect for hot summers and are so quick to whip up that you’ll end up making tons of them!

Feel free to call, email or just drop in to sign up!

Bazaar Bizarre sewing frenzy!, originally uploaded by queen puff puff.

I am in a total sewing frenzy right now. I totally did not budget my time well over the last week and now it’s crunch time. Tons of bags and headbands and makeup bags are all cut and in various states of construction. But nothing in actually FINISHED. OK, back to the the grindstone.

But first, I need an ice coffee. Mmmmmm…….sweet elixir of the gods!
