Vacation Time! and Renegade Craft SF!

Saturday, June 28th, 2008

I can’t believe that StitchCraft has been open almost 6 months! That’s just crazy. But before I go crazy from exhaustion, I’m taking a little vacation. Sooooo…… StitchCraft will be closed the week of Fourth of July. Exact dates are June 28th til July 5th and we’ll reopen Tuesday July 8. If you really, really need to reach someone, shoot me an email at

And then July 12 and 13 the Renegade Craft Fair comes to San Francisco! I’ll be there sharing a booth with the other gals from the International Sisterhood of Seamsters and Vinyl Frontier! Come by and say hi!

Kids Summer Sew Camps

Monday, June 2nd, 2008

Summer is right around the corner and we are taking signups for our Kids Sew Camps. School’s out and it’s time to learn to sew! This is a fun 3 session class designed to teach kids ages 8-12 to operate a sewing machine, read a pattern and complete a project. They will complete a pair of pajama bottoms or an a-line skirt, their choice!
6 hour class - $72

June classes are:

  • Wednesdays June 11, 18 and 25th from 12pm to 2pm (session A)
  • Thursdays June 12, 29 and 26th from 3pm to 5pm (session B)

July classes are:

  •  July 9-11 from 12pm to 2pm (session A)
  • July 16-18 from 12pm to 2pm (session B)
  • July 23-25 from 3pm to 5pm (session C)
  • July 30-August 1 from 3pm to 5pm (session D)

Call, email or stop by to sign up!

Please bring the following:
• No supplies needed for the first session. You will need the pattern, fabric and notions for the second session.

For the pattern we recommend any drawstring pajama pant or drawstring skirt pattern. Avoid anything with zippers or buttons as that will be a little too complicated for this class. Check the bag of the pattern envelope to see how much fabric you need to buy and be sure to bring thread!
